An Exorcist's Visit To The Witchie Wolves of Omer Plains
I got to know Randy Ervin awhile back after interviewing him for my ministry's web show to help paranormal investigators. After meeting him we went on a couple of cases and got to know each other. I first heard about Randy from telling his story on the House on Church Street on Discovery Channel. We became good friends and he even invited me to Omer Plains for some field research. I thought how great this is as a demonologist. We could film for the show and at the same time show what to do in case we confront a demon. Most important for me was obtaining data to show paranormal researchers so they don't get hurt if they confront a demon.
We arrived at a remote location Randy said he had an encounter while he was young with some buddies. We first took a look at the grounds in the day light to identify obstacles so we don't get lost in the dark in the middle of the woods. We came back later at night with his daughter artist Natasha Wescoat. I noticed that the Witchie Wolf Run was going on that night where cross country runners would trek the back roads avoiding the legendary Witchie Wolves; I now laugh at that.
As we investigated we noticed odd shadow movement in the brush, and even the feeling of being watched. It was a warm night and in some areas there were cold spots as if they didn't move. We blew them off but later we felt intense feelings like something was coming toward us. As a pastor I knew this was the gift of discernment telling us that something was wrong. At one point the feeling became so intense I had to quote scripture at whatever spirit was trying to get close to us. Each time I quoted from God's word the presence would leave. I've always learned with demons to stand my ground. I've been honored with hisses, growls and audible voices yelling at me. Each time always standing my ground with God's word.
After we got done with our research we returned home. I went through the material we obtained and received several EVP's of entities swearing and cursing at us. "Damn you!" and including the "S" was captured. Randy and I are God fearing Christians and don't swear. Toward the end of our investigation an EVP was captured directed toward me stating, "Greg, Get out!" Something didn't want me there and knew who I was. I felt that the Witchie Wolves felt threatened by me because I am a pastor and have exorcised a few demons before.
