Michigan’s Otherside is a project started by The Great Lakes Paranormal Research Organization in 2007. If you have stories to share, would like to help contribute in some way or just want to send us gift baskets and praise, we can be contacted by dancing at midnight in a circle of Godiva chocolates while chanting "Michigan’s Otherside”. Q: Can we join you on a ghost hunt? Can we be part of your “group?”

A: Sorry folks, but we are not a paranormal group open for membership. There’s nothing to join and we do not do any sort of public investigations for people to come on. If you are looking for paranormal teams that are established, professional and perhaps looking for new members, visit this link. Most teams are not looking for members as they are simply just groups of friends, hence the reason why so many people just start their own “team” up thus creating the “ghost group phenomenon" going on right now.

Q: Can we send you a picture we got? Or “I got pictures of orbs! Will you look at it?

A: Please do not send us pictures. Especially pictures of orbs outside or inside dusty areas. We do not believe in them and most orb pictures are absolutely nothing paranormal in origin. Unless you have a ghostly photo of Abe Lincoln standing next to you while visiting the White House, we don't want to see it.

But honestly, we encourage everyone to read up on their cameras and learn some basics of photography before they go off saying they have paranormal photos. Knowledge is key.
